Assistant Principals

Mrs. Haleigh Jackson

My name is Haleigh Jackson, and I am honored to be one of your Assistant Principals at Smiths Station High School. Prior to administration, I taught science in Phenix City Schools for seven years. I began serving in Lee County Schools as an Assistant Principal in July 2022 alongside Mr. Johnson at Beulah High School before transferring to SSHS in July 2024. I currently hold a Bachelor's in Biology, a Master's in Secondary Biology Education, and an Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership.
I am married to my husband, Jake, and we have a beautiful five year old daughter named Willow.
Smiths Station has been my home my entire life, and I look forward to the current and future partnerships with our staff, students, parents, and community members.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you ever have a need.
GO PANTHERS!

10th Grade Assistant Principal

Mr. Allen Rose

I am proud to join the SSHS administrative staff as the 10th Grade Assistant Principal with 12 years of experience in education, having spent six years teaching history and the remaining six years in school administration. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor’s degree, Faulkner University with a Master’s degree, and Troy University with a Specialist degree. I have a solid academic foundation to help support our students and teachers here at SSHS, and I am excited about each school day as we all come to improve our skills daily. Prior to my administrative role, I was an enthusiastic coach, leading teams in baseball, softball, wrestling, and football. You will see me at the Panther athletic events cheering loud and proud. I am happily married to Charlene Rose, who is also an educator, and together we have a daughter, Alenea Rose.

Remember: “You can’t hide that Panther Pride.”

Mr. Dylan Tomlin

My name is Dylan Tomlin and I cannot truly put into words how much being one of the Assistant Principals at Smiths Station High School means to me. Before moving into this role, I spent 6 years teaching 7th grade math at Aaron Cohn Middle School in Midland, Georgia, and Smiths Station Junior High. I am married to my wife, Katey, and currently, our only kids are our two dogs. As a Smiths Station graduate, this place has always been home, and I look forward to helping connect our school and community through the relationships with each and every one of you.
